Aircon Inspection Singapore

Not sure what’s wrong with your aircon, or just want to know its condition before making a decision?

SACES carries out professional aircon inspections across Singapore. Our NEA-licensed technicians check your system thoroughly and give you a clear written report with their findings.

What Is an Aircon Inspection

An aircon inspection is a standalone diagnostic check of your unit’s condition and performance.

Unlike regular servicing, no cleaning or maintenance work is carried out. The technician inspects key components, records findings, and advises on what, if anything needs attention.

You get a written report at the end of the visit. This gives you an objective picture of your unit’s condition before deciding on repairs, servicing, or replacement.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between an aircon inspection and regular servicing?

An inspection is a diagnostic check: the technician assesses the condition of your unit and provides a report. No cleaning or maintenance work is done. Regular servicing (or a chemical wash) involves physical cleaning of the coils, filters, and drainage. Many customers book an inspection first to understand what their unit needs before deciding on service.

A standard inspection for one wall-mounted unit typically takes 30 to 45 minutes. Multi-unit inspections or commercial systems take longer depending on the number of units and system type.

Yes. The technician needs access to both the indoor unit and the outdoor compressor. We recommend being on-site for the report debrief as well, so you can ask questions directly.

Yes. Pre-purchase aircon inspections are one of our most common requests. We check the units and provide a written condition report. This is useful for negotiating repairs with the seller or setting realistic expectations before you complete the purchase.

Not automatically. The inspection visit is for assessment only. If a fault is found and you want it fixed on the same visit, let us know in advance when booking so we can allocate the right time and bring the necessary parts. There is no pressure to commit to any additional work on the day.

For most residential units, once a year is sufficient, ideally before the hottest months (April to September). For commercial systems or units under heavy use, twice a year is recommended. If you notice any performance issues between scheduled inspections, book a check as soon as possible.

Yes. We inspect wall-mounted single-split and multi-split systems, ceiling cassette units, and ducted systems for residential and commercial properties across Singapore. If you have a specialised or older system, contact us before booking and we will confirm whether we can service your unit type.
