Professionals! If you ask the technicians, most have been with the company for a long time. I was first referred to Solar Aircon by two friends on separate occasions, when I mentioned that the incumbent servicing company had been unsuccessful in resolving a persistent condensation problem. The Solar team attempted to fix, failed but did not give up. The second solution worked, and management waived the first round of works! I switched over my maintenance contract. Don’t expect world-class customer service (especially if language is a speed bump), but they work hard to get the job done right. Note: For privacy purposes, I’m not including any photos of their works at my residencePosted on Google Cheen the CuriousTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Installation cost depends on the brand, unit type, number of units, and site conditions (piping route, electrical access, height). We provide a confirmed quote after a site assessment, before any work begins.
A standard 2–3 unit residential installation typically takes a full working day. Larger or more complex installations (ducted systems, multi-storey landed) may require 2 days. We confirm the timeline before the installation date.
Yes. We install all major brands: Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Panasonic, Samsung, LG, Fujitsu, Hitachi, and more. If you have not decided, we can recommend based on your budget, room size, and usage.
A single-split system has one indoor unit connected to one outdoor compressor. A multi-split system connects multiple indoor units to a single outdoor compressor, better for homes with limited outdoor ledge space and more than 2 rooms to cool.
Not always. Existing copper piping can often be reused if it is in good condition and the correct size for the new unit. Our technician inspects the existing pipework on-site and advises before work starts.
R22 is being phased out globally and is no longer manufactured. If your unit uses R22 and requires a top-up or compressor replacement, parts and refrigerant are increasingly scarce and expensive. Replacing the unit is usually the more cost-effective long-term decision. We advise honestly based on your unit’s condition.
Yes. We are experienced with HDB installation requirements, including outdoor unit placement guidelines, approved trunking routes, and BCA regulations. We cover all HDB towns island-wide.
